Detailed Itinerary
Every day is planned around the sightseeing, transfers, meals and services mentioned in the provided Vietnam tour program.
Hanoi Arrival – ½ Day City Tour
Upon arrival in Hanoi, you will be warmly greeted by the driver and transferred to the hotel. At 15:30, start the private city tour. Visit Tran Quoc Pagoda, the oldest pagoda in the city, originally constructed in the sixth century. Continue to the outside of Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and Ba Dinh Square. Visit One Pillar Pagoda, a unique structure built in the middle of a square lake. Continue to downtown for refreshment by Hoan Kiem Lake before taking a walking tour through Hanoi's Old Quarter, also known as the 36 streets. Finish the tour with a visit to Train Street.
Ha Long Bay Day Cruise SIC
After breakfast, pick up from the hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter or Opera House between 08:00 and 08:45 and depart for Ha Long Bay. Travel via the Hanoi–Haiphong–Tuan Chau Highway with a short break on the way. At 11:45, arrive at Tuan Chau Harbor and board Harmony Cruise with a welcome drink. At 12:30, enjoy Vietnamese lunch onboard while cruising past beautiful limestone scenery. At 14:00, visit Sung Sot Cave on Bo Hon Island. At 14:45, enjoy kayaking or a bamboo boat through Luon Cave. At 15:15, visit TiTop Island for swimming or trekking to the top for panoramic views of Ha Long Bay. At 16:30, return to the boat for a sunset party with wine, tea, fruits and biscuits. At 18:00–18:15, arrive back at the harbor and return to Hanoi by bus. Tour ends at the hotel.
Hanoi – Da Nang Flight – Coconut Forest – Hoi An
Have breakfast at the hotel and transfer to the airport for your flight to Da Nang. Upon arrival, transfer to Da Nang. At 14:30, meet the driver and tour guide and proceed to Bay Mau Coconut Forest, known as the Mini Mekong Delta in Hoi An. Experience a traditional basket boat ride through the coconut forest and enjoy boat spinning performances. Participate in activities such as casting fishing nets and crab fishing, and enjoy fresh coconut water. Continue to Hoi An Ancient Town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Explore charming streets lined with traditional Vietnamese, Chinese and Japanese architecture, visit the Japanese Covered Bridge and Tan Ky Ancient House, and enjoy free time for shopping and local street food. Experience the magical evening atmosphere with glowing lanterns, folk music and an optional boat ride on the Hoai River. Return to the hotel at approximately 19:00.
Da Nang – Ba Na Hills Full Day
After breakfast, the tour guide and driver will pick you up from the hotel. At 08:30, arrive at the Ba Na cable car tourist area at Nui Chua and board the cable car to begin the journey up the mountain. At 09:00, arrive at Station 2 and take the mountain train to discover the attractions of Ba Na Hills. Continue by cable car to conquer Ba Na Mountain at 1,487 metres above sea level. Visit the Golden Bridge and Fantasy Park. At 10:45, arrive at the final cable car station. Enjoy free time and the largest indoor games area in Southeast Asia. At 12:00, enjoy a buffet lunch at the restaurant. Continue exploring the entertainment area and the highest mountain area of Ba Na Hills before returning to Da Nang between 14:30 and 15:30.
Da Nang – Saigon by Flight
Have breakfast at the hotel and check out. Transfer to the airport for your flight to Saigon. Upon arrival in Saigon, you will be warmly greeted by the driver. Transfer to the hotel for check-in and enjoy the remainder of the day at leisure.
Saigon – Cu Chi Tunnels – Mekong Delta
After breakfast, depart at approximately 07:20 for the Cu Chi Tunnels. Travel for around one and a half hours to Cu Chi. Upon arrival, receive an introduction and watch an informative video about the construction and survival strategies of the tunnels during the war. Explore the remaining tunnel systems including living quarters, kitchens, storage facilities, weapons factories, field hospitals and command centres. Experience the maze-like tunnels and discover hidden trap doors and wartime traps. Enjoy special tea and cassava before proceeding to a local restaurant for lunch. Continue to the Mekong River and arrive in My Tho, where you will board a local motorboat. Cruise around Dragon Island, Unicorn Island, Phoenix Island and Turtle Island. Visit a beekeeping farm, sample honey tea and local wines, walk through the village and enjoy a rowing boat ride along a natural water coconut canal. Visit a handmade coconut candy workshop in Ben Tre and a tropical fruit garden with traditional Southern music. Return to My Tho by local motorboat and reach the hotel at approximately 19:45–20:00.
Saigon Departure
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer to Saigon Airport for departure to the next destination. It is time to say goodbye and thank you for travelling with us.
